Full-Time Registered Nurse (Delray Beach/ Boca Raton Area)

Job Summary

We are looking for an IV and Nutrient Technician to join our team! Due to the higher level of medical certifications, the IV and Nutrient Technician will serve several functions for the facility. He/she will manage all IVs, blood draws, and nutrient injections. He/she is a key resource for other team members when patient inquiry is out of their scope.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all pertinent local, state, and federal regulations
• Perform phlebotomy and venipuncture
• Administer, prepare, and monitor IV services for patients
• Prepare and administer nutrient therapies
• Administer IM injections
• Instruct patients on self-administering IM injections and subcutaneous injections
• Reconstitute patient’s medications from compounding pharmacies
• Perform inventory control
• Perform sanitation and maintenance to ensure a clean service space
• Perform sanitation, maintenance, and tracking of infusion equipment
• Perform and explain specialty lab testing to patients
• Become familiar with product knowledge to educate patients on services, treatments, etc.
• Perform all other related duties directed by the Director of Clinical Services

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

• Hold a current RN (Registered Nurse)
• Degree from an accredited college, university, or higher learning institute
• Must hold a current IV certification
• Experience in blood draws, IV therapy and injections
• Have a base knowledge of functional medicine, hormones, and nutrition
• Mature, confident, and flexible with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Works quickly and goes beyond the call of duty
• Excellent communication skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while having strong attention to detail
