Shana Rotman, APRN, FNP-BC

biography

Shana Rotman is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner committed to helping patients achieve optimal health through personalized, evidence-based care focused on longevity, wellness, and disease prevention.

Shana earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Nova Southeastern University after completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Northeastern University and her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology from Florida State University.

Prior to transitioning into functional medicine, Shana cared for patients with complex hematology, oncology, and bone marrow transplant conditions as a Registered Nurse at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and previously as a Nursing Assistant at Tufts Medical Center, where she developed a strong foundation in compassionate, patient-centered care.

Shana has been an integral member of The Biostation team, serving as both a Registered Nurse and Director of Clinical Operations before transitioning into her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Her leadership experience, combined with extensive training in advanced laboratory interpretation, hormone replacement therapy, and longevity medicine, allows her to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care rooted in prevention and performance optimization.

In addition to her passion for functional medicine, Shana has completed training in aesthetic medicine, including neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapies. She believes that confidence and wellness go hand in hand and enjoys helping patients achieve natural, refreshed results that complement their overall health and longevity goals.

Outside of the clinic, Shana has a lifelong passion for health and fitness. A former competitive softball player and bodybuilding competitor, she understands firsthand the powerful role that exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle play in achieving optimal health. She enjoys weightlifting and is passionate about helping patients build strength, confidence, and sustainable wellness from the inside out.
