Monekka Thomas

Monekka Thomas is a certified Nurse Practitioner. She was born in Gainesville, FL and move to Tampa in 2006, where she completed her associates degree at St. Petersburg College. She went on to complete her Bachelors of Science degree in nursing and minor and public health at the University of South Florida. Monekka proudly cared for our nation’s veterans as an RN, while she completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of South Florida. Monekka is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) with a primary care, urgent care, pain management, regenerative medicine and aesthetic background. Prior to returning back to her love for aesthetics (“happy medicine”), she helped our nation fight our COVID pandemic by serving on the frontline.

Monekka has advanced training and experience on non-surgical techniques for facial harmonization by enhancing natural features with the use of various neurotoxins and fillers. She also has experience using multi-modalities for anti-aging therapies, such as the use of various lasers for laser hair and tattoo removal, IV hydration, medical weight loss and PRP for treatment of hair loss and facial rejuvenation.

Monekka has a strong passion for aesthetics and regenerative medicine. She approaches each patient with a customized treatment plan and is a strong advocate for patient education. She believes if patients are educated on all aspects of their treatment plan, they can make a better educated decision regarding their health and treatment plan.
