Additional Important Information on Wellness Consultations and Diagnostic Testing:
Virtual appointments are the best way to ensure ongoing safety for both patients and staff. We’ve already been using virtual connection as an established part of our practice for quite some time, as a convenient way to connect with patients. the biostation is 100% committed to helping you achieve optimal wellness and we are able to do that through virtual appointments.

Consult Appointments:
Until further notice, patients will be seen via a HIPAA compliant video conferencing platform or via phone. Virtual consultations provide the same level of thoroughness and care as an in-person consult. During your initial consult, you will meet with your medical provider to review your clinical results and diagnostic testing to develop a plan that meets your health goals and needs.

Testing:
For any diagnostic tests that our providers recommend, your testing kits and orders can often be sent to you to be done remotely. Conventional lab testing including COVID-19 Antibody testing can be done, by appointment at one of our locations, through a mobile phlebotomy provider or at the lab. Specialty testing of urine, saliva, stool, and blood spot can be done at home and will send the kits to you and you can complete them to send them back to the labs directly.

Safety Protocols & Procedures for In-Person Appointments:

  • Prior to your appointment you will be required to answer questions regarding the state of your health.
  • You will be required to do a temperature check at the door, wear a face covering and wash your hands upon entering and after your visit.
  • We have enhanced all cleaning procedures and are enforcing social distancing to the point that it does not interfere with performing medical procedures.
  • the biostation staff and providers will be wearing PPE at all times and submitting to temperature checks prior to each shift.

We want you to know the biostation is here for you and we will all get through this together! It’s important to focus on your health right now and we are honored and grateful to support you during this challenging time.
